Welcome to Imperfect Humans, a podcast where hosts Kelsee Luttgens and Melissa Shadoin have real conversations about eating disorder recovery and lifestyle content. As two self-proclaimed perfectionists, we know how hard life can be to navigate when you want to always do the right thing and how paralyzing the fear of failure can be for so many people. Tune in to hear eye-opening and honest conversations surrounding a variety of life topics, including: coping with fear of failure, how to embrace imperfection (don't worry, we are both still learning this one), the difficult experiences of eating disorder recovery, challenging the stories we tell ourselves, and so much more. Hello beautiful humans, you probably see my name above and if not...HI I'm Melissa :) I've become known for a few things in my life: die-hard Swiftie through and through, an obsession with Starbucks that will likely never end, forever will be a Ravenclaw, and if you ask for my favorite book (or now TV character) - my answer will always be Nancy Drew. Especially the Kennedy McMann version of Nancy Drew. In addition to podcasting, I enjoy actually listening to other's podcasts while on long walks through the parks (no beaches near me), making TikToks, and watching Disney movies to be with the time with the kiddos I see on a daily basis. I'm currently a 4th year med student matching into pediatrics because just like the listeners of our podcast, I want each patient I see to feel heard and seen by me. Kids are our future and if I can make a small positive impact on their life - I've done my job.
